A little town of caracter

There are about fifteen of them in Brittany that have been granted the distinction: the " Little towns of character " are towns of less than 3 000 inhabitants with a dense and homogeneous architectural heritage. Their situation, either on a headland or at the end of an estuary is already remarkable.


They were then shaped by a rich political and economical history as testify their religious buildings, harbour installations, a tide mill... Pont-Croix, the main town of Cap Sizun, situated on the banks of the river Goyen can be described as such.
