Walking, cycling, riding... across the Pays
Bigouden, Cap Sizun and Douarnenez region

The West of Cornouaille is a privileged area with its 1000 kilometres of paths (200 kilometres are exclusively along the coast). This fairly flat region offers with a moderate climate a wide range of routes along rivers, on coasts, in the countryside. The areas of outstanding beauty are the perfect alliance of earth and sea.

  
  The magnificient GR 34 (long-distance footpath which links Douarnenez to Sainte Marine, without - almost - leaving the seaside), and a whole network of small loops, completely marked out, are easily accessible to the public.


A guide book of 12 Moutain Bike trails as well as 5 cycling itineraries on country roads are also available.

For the horse riders, a network of routes will be soon available, mainly in the Audierne Bay.

All these itineraries are suited to families without any major technical difficulties, regardless to age and training.


  The Pays Bigouden, Cap Sizun and Douarnenez area invites you to enjoy natural sites, to discover the richness of our heritage and old buildings, to live deeply the world of the fishermen.
